Reparační atypie se pozorují v reepitalizacích ulcerózních lézí po traumatech, radiaci nebo infekčním poškození. Přítomny jsou zpravidla plošné formace kohezivních buněk s bohatou cytoplazmou, světlými jádry a nápadnými jadérky.
