A so called Virtual Slide is a digital scanning of a true cytological slide. The user can go through the whole slide changing lens enlargement and focusing (if the function is available).

This Slide Library is hosted on a server of the Department of Pathology of the University College of London (UCL) and powered by the Hamamatsu NanoZoomer™. Before to access the library for the the first time the NanoZoomer™ will be downloaded and installed on your computer.
When NanoZoomer™ starts the following window will appear:



Click on “Sign in as Guest” and a list of images will be shown. Select one of them with the left mouse button. Use the right mouse button or the mouse wheel to change enlargement.
